There is hell, but it not what we think, and we do not experience it for the reasons we have been given.
It is the experience of the worst possible outcome of our choices, decisions and creations. It is the natural consequence of any thought which denies God, or says no to Who We Are in relationship to God.
It is the pain we suffer through wrong thinking. Yet even the term “wrong thinking” is a misnomer, because there is no such thing as that which is wrong.
Hell is the opposite of joy. It is the unfulfillment. It is knowing Who and What We Are, and failing to experience that. It is being less. That is hell, and there is none greater for our soul.
Hell does not exist as this place we have fantasized, where we burn in some everlasting fire (such a waste of oxygen), or exist in some state of everlasting torment (that’s what I believe). What purpose could God have in that? Wouldn’t it be simplier if He just dispose us, with the snap of a finger?
